We handle the details that keep a home or small business running smoothly, allowing our clients the freedom to focus on what matters most. With professionalism, discretion, and care, we strive to be a trusted and reliable presence in every space we serve.

TaskHers Team

TaskHers is a Brookline-based company, owned and operated by sisters, Renée Mendenhall and Kristie Brown. After 15 years of living in Brookline, N.H. and raising our families here, we understand firsthand the delicate balance between professional life and home life. There have been times when we have felt stretched thin, wishing for an extra set of hands to help us with our tasks and feel more at ease. Having recently stepped away from our corporate careers, we created TaskHers as a thoughtful solution to this modern challenge.

Renée Mendenhall
Co-Founder, TaskHers

Renée Mendenhall brings a lifelong appreciation for organization and well-designed systems to the work she does today.

Inspired by efficiency and the ways thoughtful processes can bring clarity and ease to daily life, Renée studied Industrial Engineering and later earned her MBA. She spent more than two decades building a successful career in supply chain management while raising her two daughters, balancing professional leadership with the rhythms of family life.

In 2024, after careful planning, Renée and her family stepped away from their routines to embark on a year-long sailing journey together. The experience provided space to reconnect, reflect, and reconsider how her time and energy are best spent.

With a renewed sense of purpose and priorities, Renée returned home inspired to build something meaningful. Alongside her sister, she founded TaskHers to provide fulfilling support to her family as well as to the families around her.

Kristie Brown

Co-Founder, TaskHers

Kristie Brown co-founded TaskHers after thoughtfully reshaping her professional path to create a life that balanced work with being present for her family. She holds a Master’s degree in Energy & Environmental Analysis. After a meaningful career as an Environmental Scientist with a global consulting firm, Kristie and her husband began investing in and managing vacation rental properties, allowing her to focus more intentionally on her children, home, and mindful stewardship of their successful real estate business.

Through this transition, Kristie gained a deep appreciation for the care, organization, and quiet effort that keep a household and small business running smoothly. She understands firsthand the balancing act so many people navigate today and has not forgotten the pace and pressures of a demanding professional life.

Together with her sister, Kristie created TaskHers to offer the kind of dependable support that brings a welcome sense of ease to daily life—so families have more time to focus on what matters most.
